Visiting the Homewood Campus
Explore campus through our students’ eyes in this on-campus scavenger hunt.
The Johns Hopkins Homewood campus, home base for our undergraduates, is located in north Baltimore. It is easily accessible from several interstates, and is also a short taxi ride from Penn Station and the BWI airport.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is located in Mason Hall on the Homewood campus. Due to construction on North Charles Street near the University, please review our directions carefully, as routes suggested by mapping services may require detours.
The Homewood campus offers many parking options for visitors—see a complete list of parking options and rates around campus.
If you are visiting the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for an information session, tour, or other admissions event, the South Garage is conveniently located right below Mason Hall, home to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Johns Hopkins University visitor center.
Whether you are in town to attend a program at the Homewood campus or you plan on extending your stay to explore the entertainment and dining options in Baltimore, there are many hotels near campus and in the Baltimore area—see a list of hotels.
Be sure to inquire about special rates for Johns Hopkins visitors, as some hotels in the area provide discounts for our visitors.
One of the benefits Hopkins undergrads enjoy is easy access to other, nearby campuses, including the medical institutions and Peabody Conservatory—see directions to other campuses.
