HOPKINS STUDENTS COME FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO BE PART OF A LIVELY AND CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY.
Our students inspire each other to celebrate their identities, use their voices for the greater good, and grow as individuals as well as community members. Whether you’re hosting a game night in your residence hall or studying with friends for an upcoming exam, student involvement is the pulse of our Homewood campus.
Embracing Who You Are & Who You Will Be
Your background, beliefs, and experiences will be championed at Hopkins because diversity advances our capacity to learn from each other and fuels bold discovery. Our efforts focus on creating an environment where students feel valued, engaged, and empowered to succeed.
Baltimore is home to all kinds of student adventures. Our Blue Jays immerse themselves in our city’s storied history, participate in local festivals and traditions, and find new places to explore.Learn more about Baltimore
Our students are just as eager to take action as they are to learn. Whether you‘re interested in government policy or healthcare, there are a variety of community partners and Baltimore nonprofits to work with directly.Learn more about civic engagement & service
Our Homewood campus features the best of both worlds. It has a traditional college feel, with red-brick buildings and large, grassy quads. And it’s within walking distance of big-city amenities, like major museums and restaurants.
Clubs & Activities
We have 450+ clubs and student organizations to help you get involved and meet people with similar interests. And, if you don’t see the club you’re looking for, you can start your own.
Housing & Dining
Housing and dining are more than where you eat or sleep—they’re central to the social experience on campus.
Starting college can be a big transition. You’ll have plenty of resources to help you settle in, such as a week-long orientation, your First-Year Mentor, and First-Year Seminars.
Health & Well-Being
As you explore all Hopkins and Baltimore have to offer, your entire well-being (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual) is essential to your experiences and personal development. You’ll have access to high-quality healthcare and resources that will meet you where you’re at, whether you prefer to talk to a peer or a professional.
