Alumni interviews

Alumni interviews, like on-campus interviews, are an optional and informational part of the application process and are offered for current first-year applicants only. Available in certain areas nationally and globally, they provide the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Johns Hopkins admissions volunteer. Like on-campus interviews, alumni interviews are not a required part of the application process and are by request only.

Interviews typically address your academic background, goals, interests, and what you would contribute to the campus community. These conversations will also allow you to ask questions of your interviewer and learn about his/her Johns Hopkins experience.

Click here to request an alumni interview near you. Please note that interviews are administered on a first-come first-served basis and matching may take up to a few weeks. We will contact you as soon as we have details about your request.
