Schedule

All events are held virtually in the Eastern time zone.

≫ Monday, September 28

6 p.m. – Welcome, Hopkins Overview and Current Student Panel
To kick off the event, we invite all attendees to join us for a brief introduction to Hopkins and hear from a panel of current students about their experiences as blue jays.

7:15 or 8:15 p.m. – Join A Jay: Conversation with Current Students
On Monday evening, you will have the opportunity to attend a Join a Jay conversation with a current student. These are informal ways to virtually connect in a small group – mics and videos on! Because space is limited in each event, registration is limited to one Join a Jay per person.

≫ Tuesday, September 29

5 p.m. – Mock Class
At Hopkins, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from and connect with the best and brightest. Get a sample of what the interdisciplinary classroom experience is like from our faculty themselves. You may register for only one mock class out of five based on topics in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Humanities, Natural Sciences, or Social and Behavioral Sciences. Space may be limited – so register early!

7 p.m. – Application Workshop: Telling Your Story
This workshop will show students how to use their experiences and passions to tell an authentic and cohesive story of who they are through the holistic admissions process. With admissions officer guidance, you can look forward to analyzing and comparing example essay excerpts and activities lists to learn how to make the most of different portions of your application and tell your own unique story.

Build your schedule based on your interests and availability.
