Virtual Information Sessions

Learning more about Hopkins now will help you get a sense of our community and build your strongest application as you prepare to apply.

Hosted by a member of our admissions committee and a current student, these events provide an overview of everything you need to know about Hopkins, from academics to student life to the admissions process. Following our information session, join our students as they “walk” you through our virtual tour, and share all their favorite Hopkins experiences with you!

Note: Registrants have the option of attending both the information session and guided tour (each an hour long), or just one portion to best suit your schedule. All events shown are in the Eastern time zone.

Community Conversations

What’s one of the most important aspects of college life? Finding your community. This is your chance to have candid conversations with current students, alumni, and/or faculty and staff and dig deeper into topics like civic engagement, diversity & inclusion, women in STEM, and hands-on learning. We’re also hosting some AMA (ask-me-anything) sessions where current students will answer all of your questions about Hopkins life!

Instagram Takeovers

Catch a day-in-the-life of a Hopkins student! Current and former Blue Jays takeover our Instagram (@jhuadmissions) every Tuesday.

Learn how to craft your strongest application—from the admissions officers who read them. Check out which workshops we’re offering that may be the best match for you.

Join A Jay

How do you find research opportunities? What are the most popular student groups? Where’s the best music venue in Baltimore? Talking with current students is one of the best ways to really know our campus culture—and get all your questions answered. (Note: Intended for rising seniors.)

Financial Aid 101

Grants vs. scholarships, no-loan, and demonstrated need? We explain financial aid lingo and break down the process—like how aid eligibility is determined, types of aid available, and strategies for covering college expenses. Learn about our commitment to affordability and get your questions answered.
