From College to Career

A cornerstone of a Hopkins education is career readiness.

Our undergraduates follow their passions into every imaginable field and achieve success across a variety of employers and graduate schools. To guide them through the transition from campus to career, Life Design Lab helps students gain networking and job searching skills, develop deep industry knowledge, and explore their postgraduate options. The center links students with employers and alumni through programs such as on-campus career fairs, internship postings, off-campus recruiting events, and alumni networking receptions.

Every first-year student is assigned a Life Design Educator, a mentor who connects them with immersive experiences and resources for personal and professional growth. Throughout the following years, students have access to Life Design Educators who work with their specific major or academic department.
