There are many resources available to learn about your college options, but attending our events is one of the best ways to get to know our community. Read through our events guide to identify which ones will be most helpful and relevant for you.
1. Information Sessions
These sessions are a great place to start. They’re offered both virtually and in-person, and provide an overview of our academics, student community, and what we look for in applications.
2. Guided Tours
We offer daily campus tours guided by current students who share their experiences as they show you around our home. If you can’t make it to Baltimore, you can always check out our virtual tour (Fun fact: Real Hopkins students recorded the tour voiceovers in the recording studio right here on campus!).
3. Hopkins Preview (In Person)
Visit us on campus for a sneak peek into life at Hopkins. This 2-hour program includes an admissions session, student panel, and campus tour.
4. Financial Aid 101 (Virtual)
Connect with experts from our Student Financial Support team from the comfort of your home. They’ll break down the financial aid process, explain how we make Hopkins affordable regardless of your financial circumstances, and answer your questions.
5. Community Conversations (Virtual)
To know Hopkins is to know our community. Each Community Conversation features a panel of current students, alumni, or other community members discussing a specific aspect of the Hopkins experience. Our next conversation will focus on Research, Internships, and Study Abroad at Hopkins.
6. Community Lunch (In Person)
Share a meal with a Hopkins student in one of our dining halls. Not only will you have a chance to meet current Blue Jays, you’ll also get to sample our food and get a feel for the lunchtime vibes on campus.
7. Join-a-Jay (In Person)
Small groups of prospective students hang out with a current student in an informal setting on campus to learn about life at Hopkins.
8. Application Workshops (Virtual)
Dive deep into the college application process through a series of interactive workshops. We’ll cover everything from starting your college search to how to perfect your essay.
9. Admissions Q&A (Virtual)
These virtual sessions offer an opportunity to hear directly from members of our admissions committee about how to put your best foot forward in your application.
If you’re ever unsure about which event to attend, you can always contact your regional admissions counselor for recommendations!
