Hi, I’m Lara! I’m from a small town in northern New Jersey called Franklin Lakes. It’s only about a 40 minute drive from NYC, and I have spent a lot of time in both places growing up. Growing up in a small town while also having the city as my backdrop is part of the reason that I chose Hopkins – it is a small campus situated in a larger city. I am a Writing Seminars & English double major, which is exactly what it sounds like: lots of literary analysis that inspires me to better my writing. In my free time, I enjoy going out into the city and trying out new restaurants. Welcome to my blog!
