Hi, I’m Varun! I’m from Seattle, Washington, and I make sure everyone around me knows it. My undying love for the Pacific Northwest is something that I display proudly with Mariners t-shirts and skyline socks, and I make sure to mention the 206 whenever I get the chance. As a Biomedical Engineer I love working with my design team to help solve the issue of biliary cancer diagnosis, and I look forward to working on cell and tissue synthesis projects in the future. Outside of my involvement with design team, I’m also heavily involved with HMR, the undergraduate medical journal, HUMHI, a mobile health group, I give tours, and I play basketball with my friends. In the city of Baltimore I love to check out new restaurants, walk around and explore the many neighborhoods, and of course, catch the occasional Orioles game.
