Sociedad Blue Key
ayúdanos a hacer crecer el nido
Share your Blue Jay experience with prospective Hopkins students.
Blue Key Society (BKS) is a paid employment opportunity through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Our ambassadors serve as the face of the university by interacting with prospective and admitted undergraduate students.

Blue Key Society ambassadors get involved by:
- Giving tours to visiting students and their guests
- Planning and executing on-campus events for prospective students
- Assisting guests and visitors at the Mason Hall front desk and phone suite
- Sharing their student experience through panels and speaking opportunities
- Interacting with new students through our admitted student server
- Participating in marketing photo and video projects
- Serving in leadership roles through Board and Student Coordinator positions
Meet Our Student Coordinators
Student Coordinators, or StuCos, are student leaders within Blue Key Society and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. They act as an advisory board to guide peers, lead Boards, and work directly with admissions staff to execute goals, drive change, and make a positive impact in the Hopkins community.

Board Opportunities
Student Ambassadors can apply for a growing list of Boards within BKS to work on specific projects that align with their interests and advance the work of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions:
Access & Belonging (A&B) Board
Ensure equal representation of all members of the Hopkins community by engaging with BKS students for panel discussions, building presentations, and serving as a liaison between the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, faculty, staff and BKS.
Events Board
Support the planning and oversight of both in-person and virtual special events and serve as event day contacts for BKS students.
Marketing & Communications (MarComm) Board
Create a social media content calendar, engage in video and web projects, and use photography and design skills to market BKS to the wider Hopkins community.
Training & Evaluation (T&E) Board
Oversee new BKS member recruitment, selection, and training. Guide continuing member evaluations and professional development.
Visitation Board
Manage the Visitor Center by scheduling Student Ambassadors across front desk, phone, tour guide, Join-a-Jay, and student-presenting shifts, ensuring all have access to necessary resources to provide an optimal visitor experience.
