Hear from current students about what it’s like to study at the first research university in the U.S. while embracing our flexible curriculum and collaborative learning environment. Students will discuss topics like research, interdisciplinary studies, and what it’s like to learn from some of the world’s leading experts. Sessions will focus on various areas of study available to students.

Curious about what daily life is like for our undergrads? Join us for current student panels! Each session will cover a different aspect of the student experience, from campus traditions to residential life to diversity and inclusion in the Hopkins community. There’s no better way to learn about the Hopkins experience than by listening to those currently living it!

1 – 1:55 p.m. Choose Your Own Adventure
  • Financial Aid 101  
    • Join a member of Student Financial Support to learn about the financial aid process and our commitment to affordability. You’ll learn about how we determine aid eligibility, the types of aid available, and strategies for covering college expenses. Find out what “no-loan” and “meeting 100% of demonstrated need” could mean for you. Please note this session is most relevant for domestic students in our application process (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, students with DACA or undocumented status, and other eligible non-citizens).

This session will provide an overview of the holistic admissions process at Hopkins. A member of the admissions committee will discuss how we review transcripts, essays, letters of recommendation, and other pieces of your application as we build our campus community. By knowing how we think about each component, you’ll be able to put together your strongest application.
