Open House
Open House lets you immerse yourself in Johns Hopkins life. You'll have the chance to find out what the Johns Hopkins experience is all about—from current students, faculty, and student services staff.
Availability
Open Houses are a great way to find out more about academics and student life at Hopkins. You can learn more about Johns Hopkins majors in the humanities, social sciences, engineering, and natural sciences.
For fall 2009, Open Houses are geared toward areas of academic interest, but activities for students of all potential majors and opportunities to meet faculty are available on each day. Dates for Open Houses are:
- Saturday, October 17, with a focus on the natural sciences and engineering
- Saturday, October 24, with a focus on the humanities and social sciences
Both programs will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will include student and advising panels, campus tours, faculty presentations, and admissions and financial aid sessions. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. in Shriver Hall. Lunch is provided. Tours will be offered at 8:00 a.m. for early arrivals.
Reservations
Reservations for Open House programs are required and must be made at least five business days in advance. RSVP using our online reservation form. |
