Campus involvement: Student Admissions Advisory Board, Hopkins Emergency Response Organization (HERO), classes at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)
Why I chose Johns Hopkins: Whether you're a musician, dancer, artist, athlete, tree hugger, science nerd, humanities buff, or math geek (or really just anything), Johns Hopkins has something for everyone! There are so many opportunities to explore new activities and add to your collection of interests and hobbies!
My favorite character from a movie/book/television series: I absolutely love Andy Bernard from The Office because he does not lose contests, he wins them...or he quits them because they are unfair.
Favorite place on the Homewood campus: The Mattin Center because of all their instrumental practice rooms that are so easily accessible. I love being able to keep in touch with playing the piano even when I am away from home (Mattin has practice rooms for other instruments as well). I also love painting in the huge studio rooms!
Favorite place in Baltimore: The Inner Harbor! It's a really fun place to walk around, go shopping, or eat at one of their many great restaurants.
Favorite Johns Hopkins memory: Using Baltimore public transport for the very first time and feeling like a city native (even though I'm totally from the suburbs)!
What I want to do with my major: I hope to one day go into cancer research.
Three unusual things about myself:
- I can never have enough shoes!
- I can make a flower on my graphing calculator!
- I have always wanted to be a contestant on Wipeout!
