Ask Phil a Question!
Read my blog: The Castrovinci Chronicles

Hometown: Sarasota, FL...Madison, WI...Haddonfield, NJ

Major/Minor: Public Health Studies

Current residence: Off-campus

Campus involvement: SAE Fraternity, research at the Bloomberg School of Public Health

Why I chose Johns Hopkins: It gives me the opportunity to participate in healthcare-related activites like nowhere else.

Favorite class: Introduction to Humanitarian Emergencies.

What is the biggest difference between high school and Johns Hopkins that you have experienced? The concentration of like-minded people. Most students tend to congregate around schools that bring out their best traits, and Hopkins is certainly an example of that.

What myth about Johns Hopkins frustrates you the most? Everyone I have come across is more than willing to give you whatever help you need.

Where I see myself in 10 years: Not sure. Whatever it is, buy stock in it.

Three unusual things about myself:
  1. My name is Phil, I go the Philippines every year, and I was born in Philadelphia.
  2. I have taught English in China.
  3. I ride horses...nice, since my name means "lover of horses."
