Why I chose Johns Hopkins: I knew it would be a perfect environment to pursue my huge variety of interests, where every area would be top notch.

Favorite class: Performance. We work on a play, and, at the end, perform it.

What is the biggest difference between high school and Johns Hopkins that you have experienced? The degree to which you can think you know something, but ultimately not have a clue. Hopkins has completely changed my perception of what it is to know something.

Why I am glad I chose to attend Johns Hopkins: Being here has really pushed me and showed me just what I'm capable of. I know that when I get out of here I'm going to be able to handle anything.

My ideal 3-day weekend: One of the best weekends I've had here involved a road trip to Philadelphia, seeing a concert, crashing in a hotel, and doing touristy things the next day. I'd most likely look for some good concerts being performed by the symphonies in New York, Baltimore, or Philly and make my way there.

Three unusual things about myself:
  1. I got through a fair bit of the selection process for College Jeopardy! last summer, before being cut in Cleveland.
  2. I furnished my entire apartment living room for $30 through Craigslist's free section.
  3. I was the first person to tell President Brody about Hopkins Interactive. He was touring the new admissions building one day and he asked me what I was working on, so I brought up the Web site and clicked around for him.
