Current residence: AMR II

Campus involvement: The Hop, Johns Hopkins Film Society

Why I chose Johns Hopkins: It's great across the board academically, which is good because I am not sure about what I really want to study. It's also in a city while still providing a campus atmosphere.

What is the biggest difference between high school and Johns Hopkins that you have experienced? At Johns Hopkins, the individuals are more in control of what they do. There is always something going on around campus. Unlike I anticipated, I have become great at managing time and finding a way to do everything I want.

What myth about Johns Hopkins frustrates you the most? People think this is a school only for premeds and engineers, which is completely false.

Favorite spot on the Homewood campus: My favorite spot is the Freshman Quad. I pass by it every day. Most of the time I'll end up seeing some of my friends sitting out there, reading, or playing ulitmate Frisbee, or doing whatever.

Where I see myself in 10 years: Touring the world with a band, but if that doesn't pan out, I'll have to settle for working somewhere in the communications field like being an A&R rep or working in the film industry.

Three unusual things about myself:
  1. I have recorded a CD.
  2. I am Jewish but went to an all-boys Catholic school.
  3. I had a dog named after Sisqo, a.k.a. the singer of "The Thong Song."
