When are decisions released?

How do I receive my decision?
For transfer applicants, admissions decisions will be released on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Applicants will be able to access their decisions on this release site: https:/mydecision.jhu.edu/. Applicants will need to log into the Johns Hopkins University Integrated Student Information System (ISIS) in order to access their decision. Applicants should have already received instructions from our office on setting up their ISIS passwords earlier in the month . When decisions are ready to view, you will receive an e-mail alerting you to visit the decision release site. There, you should use the ISIS (or, in some cases, JHED) ID and password you created to log into the site, where you’ll see your decision and, if admitted, the next steps you need to take. If you applied for financial aid and are admitted, you will be able to view your financial aid offer through ISIS.
We are unable to release decisions over the phone, so it’s important that applicants follow the steps above to ensure that they will be able to access their decision once it has been posted. If you have questions about logging in, please note that we are only able to share information with the student, parent, or high school counselor if the caller’s identity has been reasonably confirmed.
Admitted students will also receive an official acceptance packet about 3-4 days after the decision is released. For international addresses, please allow additional time. Applicants for financial aid are notified of their tentative aid package along with their mailed admissions decision.
I never received an e-mail with decision release instructions. What do I do?
If you have not yet received an e-mail with instructions on logging into your ISIS account, you should try these steps: Check all e-mail accounts, including your parents’ and any others you might’ve used throughout your college application process. We’ll send all official communications to the e-mail you supplied on your application. Check your spam/junk folders. Sometimes (rarely, but sometimes) our e-mails get caught up in spam filters. If you still don’t have the e-mail, call or e-mail us at gotojhu@jhu.edu and we’ll get it figured out.
I have been admitted, when is my enrollment deposit due?
Transfer Students: Your enrollment deposit and Candidate Reply form must be submitted online by June 3, 2013. Instructions on how to do this are found on the decision release site, where you received your admissions decision.
After submitting my enrollment form and deposit, what happens next?
Admitted Regular Decision students will receive additional information about their enrollment at Johns Hopkins a few weeks after we receive their deposit and Candidate Reply Form. This will include details about housing, dining, academic advising, registration, orientation, and computing.
I was placed on the wait list. What do I do next?
A small number of transfer applicants will receive a wait list decision. You will receive directions in your decision e-mail about how to choose to remain on the wait list or how to decline the offer.
I was denied admission. Can I appeal the decision?
Admissions committee decisions are final and we do not accept appeals. We understand the disappointment that comes along with receiving a deny decision from any university. Unfortunately, however, we are just not able to admit all of the talented students who apply for admission each year.
